Pastorfrdavidolvsayrenj.comFr. David Pekola was born on September 22, 1958 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and was raised in Cateret, graduating from Carteret High School. He earned a BA in Economics from Rutgers University and attended St. Mary’s Seminary and University in Baltimore, Maryland from 1981 through 1986.
He has been a priest in the Diocese of Metuchen for over 35 years serving in St. Elizabeth, Far Hills, Our Lady of Lourdes , Milltown, and St. Cecelia’s, Iselin as an Associate. He has been Pastor of Assumption, Hackettstown, St. Patricks, Belvidere and St. Rose of Lima, Oxford.
Fr. Pekola has a great love of liturgy and the sacred scriptures. He is excited and happy to be serving the people and the parish of Our Lady of Victories.
