Deacon Ed grew up in Sayreville NJ , attended Sacred Heart Church in South Amboy and graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1964. He married his high school sweetheart Mary in 1967 and is the proud father of three sons, six grandchildren and one great grandchild (so far!) Ed served three years in the Army and was stationed in Germany where his son Eddie, Jr. was born. He returned from the Service in 1971 and graduated from Rutgers with an MBA in Economics. He worked his entire career in the banking industry in NYC and NJ retiring in 2018. Deacon Ed is a Past President of the Holy Name Society, 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and together with Mary are active members of the Equestrian Order of the Knights and Ladies of the Holy Sepulcher. He was ordained to the Deaconate in the Diocese of Metuchen, is stationed at his home parish of Our Lady of Victories since 2010 and has been very happily active in his Ministries of Service including monthly Preaching, RCIA, Training and Scheduling of Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and Altar Servers -- basically always available to serve when called on by his Pastor.
